When traveling with kids, hotels can be fun and exciting for them.....but what about when you need to stay in the room for a while and the TV is NOT entertaining them? Or what about taking them to a relative's or friends house who don't have toys on hand? Or how about a toy that is entertaining AND is almost noise free...? Oh yeah - and its basically free and doesn't take up storage space?
The Travel Track
Items you need:
*1 pair of jeans (save the pockets)
*scissors
*Paint of your choice
*A few small cars
I cut 9 straight pieces, 7 curved pieces, and 2 "L" shaped pieces - ALL from 1 leg of the jeans.
I used white acrylic paint and cut a rectangular piece off of a sponge to make the lane lines.
Once dry, all the pieces can be folded and tucked into the back pocket saved from the jeans.
You can make more pieces from the other leg and tuck them into the other pocket for an additional set or a gift - that costs you nothing!
Great for Travel and a Quiet Afternoon!
